Cara – A Princess Looking for Peace

Cara has been with us since 2017 and is still waiting for her chance to find a forever home. She is a devoted, affectionate, and trusting cat who loves human company and enjoys being close to people. Her perfect environment is a calm, stable household where she can live as the only cat and enjoy undisturbed affection.

Health-related characteristics of Cara

When Cara was a kitten, she tested positive for feline coronavirus, a condition that can carry a risk of FIP. Despite this, she has remained completely symptom-free for many years and continues to enjoy stable health. Life in the shelter environment has occasionally caused her stress, leading her to urinate in her bed, but this is considered a reaction to competition and noise and is expected to subside once she finds a peaceful home. From time to time, Cara experiences mild conjunctivitis, yet she accepts treatment without difficulty and has proven to be cooperative when cared for.

Cara is strictly an indoor cat. A secure balcony or cat-proofed terrace would be ideal, so she can enjoy fresh air in a safe way.

If you are ready to adopt a gentle cat who needs patience, understanding, and love, Cara could be the one. She will reward her adopter with loyalty, cuddles, and a strong emotional bond that only grows deeper over time.

Character description

Cara is a charming and affectionate cat who loves human attention and thrives on daily interaction. She prefers a calm household where she can be the center of affection without competing for attention. Although she tolerates other cats, she is happiest when she is the only feline queen at home. Cara is talkative, often announcing her breakfast with an insistent meow every morning, and she enjoys routine and predictability. She responds well to gentle care, including treatments for occasional eye irritation, and has shown resilience despite her medical history. Born in April 2017, she has spent most of her life in the shelter but has remained healthy and full of character. With patience, warmth, and stability, Cara is ready to blossom into a devoted lifelong companion.
