A gentle giant waiting for his forever home
At first glance, Kado’s strong build might make you think of him as powerful and imposing. But spend just a moment with him, and you’ll discover a sweet, affectionate soul who lives for love, closeness, and human companionship. This nine-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier is a true treasure: calm and balanced at home, yet eager and joyful on walks or little adventures.
Kado weighs about 30 kilos, but in his heart he is a lapdog – happiest when he can rest his head on your knee or curl up beside you. He gets along well with other dogs, showing confidence and ease in most situations, and he enjoys being part of everyday life without fuss. Children, especially those old enough to understand a dog’s needs, will find in him a patient and kind companion.
Since December 2024, Kado has been thriving in his foster home. He has already proven that he is house-trained, adaptable, and incredibly affectionate. Still, a foster home is only a stepping stone. Kado longs for the stability of a forever family – people who appreciate his sensitive nature and are ready to give him the security he deserves.
In return, Kado will offer unwavering loyalty, warmth, and the joy of sharing life’s moments with a best friend. Whoever opens their heart to Kado will not just be rescuing a dog – they will gain a devoted companion who is ready to make every day brighter.
371 Days without a home or loving family
Kado is a old American Pit Bull Terrier with a heart as big as his frame. Weighing around 30 kilos, he may look powerful, but what truly defines him is his gentle, affectionate soul. Kado is the kind of dog who melts into your arms when you cuddle him, yet he also lights up at the idea of a long walk in nature. He balances the best of both worlds – calm and loving indoors, confident and curious outdoors.
Social and open by nature, Kado enjoys the company of other dogs and handles everyday life with serenity. Crowds, noises, or new situations rarely unsettle him. With people, he is trusting and warm, seeking closeness and human connection above all. Around children, especially older ones who know how to treat dogs respectfully, he shows patience and kindness.
Kado has been living in a foster home since late 2024, where he quickly became a favorite. What he needs now is not just admiration, but a forever family ready to share their love and daily life with him.
