Our promise is clear and heartfelt: to give every dog and cat a real chance at life.
We strive to achieve this by building a professional animal rescue service and a Rehabilitation Center where rescued animals receive immediate care — safety, food, medical treatment, and compassionate attention.
For those who cannot be rehomed, LIFE4DOGS provides a loving forever home in our sanctuary. Here, even animals considered “dangerous breeds,” those with severe trauma, or those living with disabilities are treated with dignity, care, and respect.
But LIFE4DOGS goes further: Our Rehabilitation Center will become a place of learning and community. With a public dog park, dedicated training areas, workshops, and a dog school, we aim to promote responsible ownership and strengthen the bond between humans and animals.
Above all, our Center will be a reliable point of contact for anyone seeking guidance or support.
Your donation goes directly into building and running the LIFE4DOGS Rehabilitation Center: the rescue shelter for immediate care, the sanctuary for unadoptable dogs, the cat colony, the dog school, the public dog park, the rescue service with emergency vehicles, and sustainable infrastructure. Every euro helps to give animals a second chance.
There are two ways you can support us…
All donations made via GoFundMe go directly to the official association account, and the donation receipt is provided via GoFundMe.
Since we do not have the “Entidad de Utilidad Pública” status, donors residing in Spain cannot deduct their donations from their taxes.
👉 Here you can read more about the Entidad de Utilidad Pública.
Donors outside Spain can inquire with the relevant authorities.
Donations made via GoFundMe are tax deductible with the donation receipt provided by GoFundMe.
Here you can check:
According to the national register, there is only one animal welfare organization in the whole of Spain that has been recognized as an “Entidad de Utilidad Pública.” In other words, animal welfare organizations registered in Spain generally have no chance of tax exemption and recognition as a non-profit organization.
👉 Here you can open the register and use “Utilidad Pública” as the search term.
By using your browser’s search function (Ctrl + F), you can then look for the keywords “Animal” / “Perro” / “Gato”.
Spanish law requires that there always be an affiliation in the name of an organization. In our example “Servicio de rescate de animales para perros – LIFE4DOGS” is the animal rescue service and the affiliation for dogs are decisive.
