LIFE4DOGS is an independent animal rescue service currently being established in Tenerife.
Our mission is to provide fast, compassionate, and effective help for abandoned, injured, or abused dogs and cats.
We are in the process of building a rehabilitation center that will offer emergency care, first aid, and – whenever possible – help animals find loving new homes through a trusted network of partners.
What begins today with our first emergency response vehicles is just the start. In time, it will grow into a fully equipped animal rescue and rehabilitation center.
Our work starts where others look away — on the roadside, in ravines and ruins, on empty lots, or with people who desperately want to help but lack the means.
At present, swift and effective help for dogs and cats in Tenerife is still just a dream. Local animal shelters are overcrowded, and many are unable to respond to urgent cases due to a shortage of staff, equipment, or time.
We at LIFE4DOGS want to change that — as quickly as possible — so that shelters can once again focus on what truly matters: caring for animals long-term and finding them the best possible homes.

LIFE4DOGS began with a small team on Tenerife—people who could no longer stand by and do nothing.
What started as a simple idea quickly became a powerful mission: to create lasting change together with those who refuse to look away.
A growing network of local animal shelters, foster homes, and international partners now forms the backbone of our efforts to provide effective support and find loving homes.
With the help of trusted local businesses, dedicated small enterprises, and strong cooperation with public authorities, we are building the urgently needed rehabilitation center—a place that will mend thousands of broken hearts for years to come.
